Usually spaces have different floor constructions. For example in a bedroom the floor can have a construction with wooden finish and the toilet tile finish. This can result to different construction thermal properties in the spaces floors so must be assigned during the building modeling.

 

By default each space inherit the floor construction of its building block default floor construction. To change to a different floor construction in a space select the space set the floor's construction for the properties tab.

 

 

The user can set the:

 

Floor main part construction (usually the ground/basement floor or the exposed externally floor).

Floor/ceiling part construction for the adjacent part of the floor with another building block below.

Floor's external part construction in case the floor is above an external space.
