Beams can only be drawn in plan view. When a beam is drawn the user can specify, in the properties tab, the distance in meters of the thickness of the beam. It is assumed that the beam begins from the top of the roof level.

 

 

To complete the action the user must draw the line that indicates the width of the beam.

 

Note:

For an external beam the user must draw a line that lie on the external part of a wall structure.

For an internal beam the user must draw a line that lie inside the building block.
